*Because of the time required to complete the immigration formalities
and obtain the necessary documentation, applicants are advised that it
may take several months from the time of admission to the receipt of a
student visa or study permit/authorization.  International students
should allow up to 6 months (24 weeks) for their paperwork for visa
applications.  Admission entry points can be delayed once a visa is
secured.

Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable application fee.
 
You will need to submit your transcripts as well as the following program specific materials: 
 
·         A Statement of Research Interest – No more than two pages in length, in which applicants indicate their career aspirations/plans, specific research interests, and experience relevant to their interests. A potential thesis supervisor must have been contacted and he/ she must be identified in the statement of intent.
·          Acceptance into the program requires that a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences agrees to supervise the student’s research program. Prospective students must contact potential supervisors in the Department of Biological Sciences. The potential thesis supervisor should be identified in the statement of research interest. See the department website for information regarding faculty members or associate faculty.
