All about Dustine
Hey Everyone! My name is Dustine and I am in my fourth year of the Business Administration program. However, I will be pursuing my love for teaching elementary school. Here at Brock I have lived in both styles of residence buildings and off campus as well. I have participated in many residence activities such as Residence Action Council and Residence Life Staff. I am also a very active member of Brock Dance here on campus.

I come from a small town called Tavistock, Ontario. We only have one main intersection. I understand how uneasy coming to an unknown place can be. All I can say is that it was well worth it and one of the best experiences I have ever had.

I look forward to meeting many of you on our amazing tours and preview days. If you have any questions you can comment on my blogs.

All about Karen
Hey there Future Badgers! My name is Karen and I'm in my 4th year here at Brock University. I am in the Concurrent Education program with a teachable and minor in Human Geography. I had spent my first two years at Brock living in Decew Residence both as a student and a Living Learning Community (LLC) Peer Mentor. I've lived in my hometown of Toronto, ON my whole life until I started my amazing journey at Brock. As much as I miss the busy city life of Toronto, I have definitely fallen deeply in love with the small town, community feel that Brock offers. If you have any questions, feel free to comment on my blog. I hope to see some of you here for a tour of our lovely campus this Fall or Spring! Take care!

All about Katelyn
Hey everyone! My name's Katelyn and I'm in my fourth year of the concurrent education program here at Brock at the Junior/Intermediate level with a teachable in French. I have always had a passion for working with children, so I knew that the Con Ed program here at Brock was the perfect fit for me! After I finish my five years here, I hope to work as a French teacher in an elementary school. I also hope to have the opportunity to teach in another country, since I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I grew up in Kitchener, Ontario, but have been fortunate enough to call St. Catharines my home for the past three years and I look forward to what sorts of adventures I will get up to during my last year of undergraduate studies here. This is also my third year as a Campus Experience Coordinator, so hopefully I can answer any questions you may have about being a university student!

All about Meghan
Hello! My name is Meghan and I am attending Brock University in my third year of the Concurrent Education BA/BEd I/S program with a major in Drama and second teachable in English. During my first year at Brock I was able to be part of Brock Musical Theatre's production of RENT. This experience led me out of my shell right from the beginning of my first year, and allowed me to grow into the Brock community. I was able to see how important it is to branch out and get involved which is why last year as well as this year I have been a Residence Don in order to ensure that our incoming first years get the best experience possible at Brock!

A piece of advice:
When you choose a school, you are going there for your academics, BUT, your social and extra-curricular life are just as important in order to be a well-rounded student. Don't be afraid to try new things. Don't let the feeling of "only being in first year" or "having too much work to do" stop you from getting involved because this is the time to do it. This is the time to use 'both sides of the brain' in order to be that well-rounded person. When you find something you love, something that brings out the best in you, don't find excuses to not do it. Let it be your outlet. Let it the thing you go to or do when you're feeling overwhelmed because in the long run, it will keep you happy, confident and sane!
