Faculty of Education

Virtual Open House

At Brock’s Faculty of Education, we give teachers the tools they need to succeed at the head of the class by putting learning at the centre of everything we do.

We see learning as a force of positive change that builds civil, progressive societies. Our programs are built on principles that respect differences, advance social justice, and expand global and community awareness. We strive to create a learning environment where our students gain the skills needed to have maximum impact on the lives of their students and the communities they will serve. From certificates to PhDs, we have programs and research to interest beginning educators and seasoned professionals.

Overview of the Faculty

Concurrent vs Consecutive Teacher Education:
What’s the difference?

Concurrent Teacher Education

Concurrent Teacher Education offers students who are beginning their university studies and planning a career in education, the opportunity to complete the Teacher Education Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree program (leading to an Ontario Certificate of Qualification and Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers) while earning their undergraduate degree.
